Agenda for Board Meeting 1-21-10 (v.2.0)

Membership Report – Al for Paula

Membership is still at 128 households, 167 individuals. 

Treasurer’s Report – Mitch shared budget for 2010 and compared to 2009. Chris moved that the budget be approved and budget was passed unanimously.

Revamp of Swap processes and costs – Dave shared software, printer for bar code discussion and change from using the sticker instead of ticket. Dave shared a demo of these stickers.

Vote on Ford Sakata to be board member – everyone but Ford; discussion to board voting to replace Ford, Chris made the motion and Jackie seconded, unanimous vote. Vote was a recommendation to the members for the general club meetng.

Report on club jerseys – Ford shared costs and brought samples to board meeting.

Discussion of amount to subsidize club jerseys and set amount.

Cost for jersey - Al moved that club subsidize for $28 per jersey; unanimously passed.
Thus, the cost = $37 for the jersey.

Mitch moved that subsidy is limited to two jerseys per member. Dave seconded it. Motion carried by unanimous vote.

Orders must be received by Ford by Feb 7, 2010.

As donation time is coming up, a discussion of amount of cash to keep. What to base it on:

· Fund # of years events ( Swap / 500 )—Dave discussed insurance for loss for theft of money,

· Keep balance at a static level; board discussed need to have reserves

· Fund jerseys / Swap revamp date April 24, 2010

· May 16 for Arlington 500.

Discussed: Vince made the motion to accept the budget as presented by Mitch. The budget for donations was for $2300. The motion was passed unanimously.
